Tang Kong Choong steps up as CEO in leadership transition at TTSH

He will succeed Eugene Fidelis Soh.

Tang Kong Choong has taken over the CEO role at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), succeeding Eugene Fidelis Soh, who has led the hospital since 2015.

Tang began his CEO duties on 1 April. He joined TTSH in 2020  as a Senior Consultant with the Department of Anaesthesiology, Pain and Intensive Care Medicine.

In April 2021, he moved up to the Assistant CEO post. A year later, he became Deputy CEO.

As Deputy CEO, Tang assisted with overseeing Hospital Services and Corporate Services portfolios and supported in driving the hospital's Leadership & Organisational Development.

Former CEO Soh will serve as Executive Director of ​the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) and continue his role as Chairman of CHI Co-Learning Networks.
