5E Resources sets hearing date for GreenEdge acquisition approval

It will be held on 7 February at 10 a.m.

5E Resources Limited said in a bourse filing that the date for the court hearing to sanction its acquisition by GreenEdge Sdn. Bhd. will be held on 7 February at 10 a.m.

GreenEdge is acquiring all issued shares of the company, except treasury shares and shares held by the Offeror Concert Party Group, via a scheme of arrangement under Section 210 of the Companies Act 1967 of Singapore and the Singapore Code on Takeovers and Mergers.

The scheme meeting was held on 22 January, when shareholders approved the acquisition.

Following this, 5E Resources filed a court application on 23 January to apply for an order for sanction for the scheme.

Shareholders who wish to attend the court hearing must inform the company's solicitors, Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP, by no later than 5:30 p.m. on 4 February.
