Tenders launched for Jalan Jurong Kechil, Jurong Town Hall Road sites
The site at Jurong Town Hall Road is at least $102m.
In a release, URA accepted applications from developers to put up the residential site at Jalan Jurong Kechil and the hotel site at Jurong Town Hall Road for sale by public tender.
Land parcel at Jalan Jurong Kechil
The land parcel was made available for sale through the Reserve List system on 13 November 2006.
It has a land area of about 1.02 ha and gross floor area of about 14,200 m2 with a lease option of 30 years, 45 years or 60 years. This short-term lease site is zoned for residential development and can be developed into a condominium or flat. The
successful tenderer of this site has the flexibility to develop the site for retirement housing.
URA has received an application from a developer who has committed to bid at a price of not less than $23,964,237 on a 60-year lease term in the tender for the land parcel. As the minimum price committed by the developer for the land parcel is acceptable to
the Government, the site will be released for sale by public tender.
Land parcel at Jurong Town Hall Road
The land parcel was made available for sale through the Reserve List system on 29 May 2012.
This first hotel site in Jurong Lake District is prominently located at Jurong Town Hall Road, one of the main thoroughfares in Jurong Lake District and close to the picturesque Jurong Lake.
With a land area of 0.9 ha and a potential gross floor area of about 19,000 m2, this land parcel is envisaged for a distinctive hotel development with a garden setting and will further anchor Jurong Lake District as a unique lakeside destination for business and
leisure.
URA has also received an application from a developer who has committed to bid at a price of not less than $101,988,888 in the tender for the land parcel. As the minimum price committed by the developer for the land parcel is acceptable to the Government, the site will be released for sale by public tender.
