Chart of the Day: HDB rental prices rise 0.4% MoM in December 2024

Monthly rental prices were the highest in Bukit Merah.

HDB rental volume recorded 2,448 units in December 2024, up from 2,155 in November, 99.co and SRX reported.

 

In the same period, rental prices also rose 0.4% month-on-month (MoM) to 142.0 from 144.4 in November.

HDB rental prices were the highest in Bukit Merah, with an overall median monthly rent of $3,700.

Meanwhile, HDB rental prices are the lowest in Yishan, Ang Mio Ko, and Bedok at $3,000.

In addition, rents for all HDB types rose 0.4% in December, whilst those in HDB 3-room and 4-room rose 0.5%.

HDB 5-room rents recorded the highest increase at 0.7% whilst HDB executive rents remained unchanged.
