Chart of the Day: HDB resale volume down 11.6%

Only 1,753 HDB were resold in June.

According to this chart from SRX and HDB, the number of HDB units sold in June this year were down 11.6% from the number of units resold in May.

For the said month, 1,753 HDB resale flats were sold, down from 1,984 transacted units in May.

On a yearly basis, resale volume decreased by 5.0% compared to 1,846 units resold in June 2016. Comparing to its peak, resale volume was down by 52.0% from 3,649 units in May 2010.

In terms of resale prices HDB recorded a 0.1% decrease.
