Chart of the Day: Occupancy of homes in OCR rose to 95.9% in Q1

It posted the highest occupancy rate amongst regions.

This chart from OrangeTee & Tie reveals that the occupancy rate for completed private residential homes in the outside central region (OCR) rose to 95.9% in Q1. It also recorded the highest occupancy rate amongst regions.

In contrast, occupancy in the core central region (CCR) and rest of central region (RCR) fell to 92.6% and 93.8%, respectively.

Overall, occupancy rates in the city rose from 94.5% in Q4 2019 to 94.6% in Q1. The tight supply of private housing and spike in short-term demand resulted in a hike in rental prices in the previous quarter.
