Chart of the Day: October HDB rental volumes grew 13.9%

Rental volumes dipped 12.1% YoY from last year.

This chart from SRX shows that October HDB rental volumes rose 13.9% MoM with an estimated 1,734 flats rented out. This is compared to 1,523 units leased in September.

On a yearly basis, rental volumes dipped 12.1% from October 2019. Volumes were also 8.9% lower than the five-year average volume for October.

Breaking down by room types, 36.5% of the total volumes were four-room units, 35.2% were three-room units, 21.9% were five-room units, whilst 6.4% were executive units.
