Chart of the Day: Share of condo units sold to HDB upgraders fell to 30%

Sales volume of buyers with HDB addresses fell 3.4% to 1,232 units.

This chart by Edmund Tie Research showed that the proportion of condo units sold to those with HDB addresses fell to 29.5% in Q2 from 37.8% in the previous quarter. This included HDB upgraders and investors who are living in HDB flats.

This was because the sales volume of buyers with HDB addresses fell 3.4% QoQ to 1,232 units in the same quarter after surging 33.2% in Q1.

At the same time, the proportion of condo units sold to private homebuyers remained at 50% from the previous quarter.
