Private condominium sales are driven by demand from Singapore citizens, according to this chart from Knight Frank.

Singaporeans bought 4,431 units in the first half of the year, making up 74% of all private home deals in the city-state.

Meanwhile, permanent residents bought a total of 1,487 units in the first six months, making up 24.8% of all transactions.

Companies bought 76 units in the first half. Corporates only bought 36 units in Q2, a far cry from 301 units in the same period last year.
