COTD: Real estate investment sales surge in Q3

Singapore's investment sales transaction volumes hit $11.09b in the third quarter of the year, according to a Savills report.
It was dominated by the Residential sector, which accounted for the largest share at 45.1%, totalling $5b.

The Commercial sector followed, contributing 22.7% or $2.52b. Meanwhile, industrial transactions reached $1.05b, making up 9.5% of the total volume.
The Others category registered $1.35b at 12.2%, whilst Mixed-use properties saw $1.01b in sales, a 9.1% share.
The smallest segment was Hospitality at just $160m, representing 1.4% of the overall transactions.
