Gov’t to offer ‘white flats’ at Mount Pleasant BTO project
This will be the second BTO project to offer this option.
The Housing & Development Board (HDB) will offer ‘white flat’ layouts at the first build-to-order flats (BTO) project at Mount Pleasant.
A ‘white flat’ concept is an open-concept housing design by the HDB that features a beamless, wall-less layout in the living room and bedroom area.
This will be the second BTO project to offer the White Flat layout.
The White Flat layout was first piloted at the Crawford Heights BTO project in October 2024, with about four in 10 flat buyers opting for the layout.
The Mount Pleasant BTO project is part of the announced 25,000 new flats that HDB will launch this year, as announced by the Minister for National Development Minister Desmond Lee.
