HDB to launch over 4,600 balance flats in July sales exercise

More than one-third are ready-to-move-in units.

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) will offer over 4,600 balance flats in its July 2025 sales exercise, exceeding the earlier target of 3,000 Sale Balance Flats (SBF) units.

In a Facebook post, National Development Minister Chee Hong Tat said more than a third (1,733) are already completed and available for immediate occupation, whilst the rest will be completed progressively.

Including a separate batch released in February, HDB will have launched over 10,000 SBF units this year.

In total, more than 10,000 new flats, comprising BTO and SBF flats, will be put up for sale by the HDB.

Around 5,500 BTO flats will be offered across various estates, including around 1,400 flats in Clementi Emerald and Bangkit Breeze in Bukit Panjang that come with shorter waiting times of less than three years.

Chee also shared that 775 BTO flats will be offered in Sembawang Beacon, the first BTO project to be launched in the new Sembawang North area. It consists of a range of different flat types available, with a waiting time of three years.
