HDB resale prices down 1.8% in September

1,638 resale flats were sold within the month.

HDB resale prices dipped 1.8% YoY and 0.3% MoM in September.

According to Singapore Real Exchange (SRX), resale prices of HDB 3 and 4 rooms have also declined by 0.5% and 0.6%, respectively.

HDB executive resale costs also dropped 1.5%.

Meanwhile, prices of HDB 5 rooms inched up by 0.1%.

According to the SRX property price sub-indices, HDB resale prices in mature estates grew 0.1% YoY, whilst those in non-mature estates dipped 3.3% YoY.

SRX added that prices have decreased by 12.3% since the peak in April 2013.

Moreover, 1,683 resale flats have been sold for the month, 14% lower than the 1,957 units transacted in August.
