HK, SG housing chiefs exchange views on policies, new technologies

Amongst areas of discussion include green buildings.

Hong Kong’s Secretary for Housing, Winnie Ho, met with Singapore’s Housing & Development Board Chief Executive Officer Tan Meng Dui and Minister for National Development Desmond Lee to discuss policies and new technologies that can adopted in upcoming developments.

Ho exchanged views with Singapore’s housing chiefs on housing policy, innovative construction technologies and green building.

During her meeting with Tan, Ho learned about local housing policies and public housing projects in Singapore. Meanwhile, Ho received a briefing from Lee on Singapore’s overall land use planning and development strategies.
 
Ho also met with representatives from Singapore’s construction sector who shared views and experiences about innovative construction technologies.
