Jansen Mansions on sale for almost $19m

The majority of the owners agreed to raise the reserve price to $18.9m.

For the third time, Jansen Mansions located at 25 Jansen Road in the Kovan area will be open for sale for $18.9m through public tender on 2 June, real estate agency, Propnex, said.

Propnex said more than 80% of owners at Jansen Mansions disclosed that they allow the sale of the property and slightly raised the reserve price from $18.5m to $18.9m. In February 2021, the mansion was worth $19.8m.

The 12-unit mansion has a land rate of $863 per square foot per plot ratio inclusive of development charges.

It has a 999-year leasehold tenure starting from 1 September 1876. Under the Urban Redevelopment Authority's Master Plan 2019, the site is zoned residential with a plot ratio of 1.4.

The property also has a gross floor area of 2,158.1 square metres. The collective sale tender will end on 28 June at 2 p.m.
