Private condo prices rise 0.5% in July

But the growth is slower than last month's rate.

Private condominium prices continued to rise by 0.5% in July, albeit at a lower rate than June's 0.9%.

According to the NUS Institute of Real Estate Studies' Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI), the overall SRPI has an index value of 142.8 for the month.

Meanwhile, prices for units in the central regions stayed flat with at 130.8.

SRPI for units in non-central regions rose 1.0% to 155.2.

However, SRPI for small units fell by 0.8% for the month.

The SRPI is the index for the overall non-landed residential market based on the whole SRPI property basket.

The Central region sub-basket is made up of properties in Postal Districts 1 to 4 and 9 to 11. Properties in the other postal districts are belong to the non-Central region sub-basket.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
