Private home prices see slower growth in Q2

Non-landed property prices increased by 0.5% QoQ.

The private residential property price index only increased by 0.5% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter of the year, according to the Urban Redevelopment Authority.

Sale transaction volume also fell by about 40% QoQ as the number of units launched for sale declined. 

Meanwhile, non-landed property prices increased by 0.5% QoQ. Properties in the Core Central Region and Outside Central Region increased by 2.3% and 0.9%, respectively.

However, the Rest of the Central Region decreased by 1.1%.

For landed properties, prices increased by 0.7% QoQ during the period.
