Four in 5 Singaporean millennials look for shopping ideas online.

This chart from Meta reveals the top picks of digital-savvy millennials, (outlined in blue), for gift ideas for the holiday compared to the country average, with electronics topping the list.

In Meta’s latest seasonal holidays study, 81% of Singaporeans who browses online for gift ideas and inspirations for the holiday season are looking at experiences such as taking courses or subscriptions followed by those who look at live events such as concerts or theatre (73%) with electronics following close third (72%).

Most millennials surveyed (77%) however browse through electronics for gift ideas. This is followed by live events such as concerts or theatre (76%), DVDs, music, or films, physical copies or streaming (76%), and auto parts (73%).
