Duty Free’s net profit soars to $16m in FY 2024

Basic earnings per share stood at $1.33 (RM4.47).

Duty Free International Limited reported a $16m (RM53.6m) net profit attributable to owners of the company during the financial year 2024, an increase of more than 100% from its FY 2023 net profit of $4m (RM14m).

The company said this was primarily driven by a reduction in professional fees and employee benefit expenses.

However, revenue decreased by 1.4% to $46m (RM155m) during the same period.

Basic earnings per share stood at $1.33 (RM4.47).
