Duty Free’s net profit soars to $12.6m in Q3 2024

Revenue also increased by 6.3% to $12.5m.

Duty Free International Limited reported a $12.6m (RM41.6m) net profit attributable to owners of the company during the third quarter (Q3) of 2024, an increase from its Q3 2023 net profit of $746k (RM2.4m).

The company said this was primarily due to the $21m (RM69.6m) compensation received from KDN for its Compulsory Land Acquisition transaction.

Revenue also increased by 6.3% to $12.5m (RM41.1m) during the same period.

Basic earnings per share stood at $1.05 (RM3.47).
