The Straits Times Index (STI) closed at 4,416.270, up 0.51% on Thursday, 23 October, at 5:21 p.m.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings Limited was the most active stock, followed by DFI Retail Group Holdings Limited (+2.05%) and Seatrium Limited (+1.90%).

Singapore Airlines Limited and Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited were at the foot.
