Mirae Asset Securities SG joins SGX as new trading member

The membership would enhance the company's Asia-centric investment strategies.

SGX Group welcomed Mirae Asset Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd, the Singapore subsidiary of South Korea's Mirae Asset Securities, to its securities market as a trading member.

Since 2011, the brokerage company offered equity and fixed-income services, investment banking, structured finance, and other capital market services.

With the addition of Mirae Asset Securities (Singapore), there are now 28 trading members in SGX's securities market, including 26 clearing members.

Pol de Win, SGX Group Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Sales and Origination, said the Mirae Asset Securities' membership would further enhance its Asia-centric investment strategy and expose its clients to exciting opportunities.
