UOB issues $2.1b total worth of notes

The notes are under the US$30b Global Medium Term Note Programme.

United Overseas Bank (UOB) announced it intends to issue $1.02b (US$750m) senior notes due 2025, $474.72m (US$350m) senior floating rate notes due 2025, and $1.36b (US$1b) subordinated notes due 2032. It will be issued under the US$30 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme.

BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse Singapore, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Singapore, Standard Chartered, UBS AG Singapore, and UOB have been appointed as joint lead managers for the notes.

An application will be made to the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading (SGX-ST) for the listing and quotation of the notes. The issue date of each series of notes is expected to be 7 April.
