Starhub taps Deborah Ong as chairman of the audit committee

She will replace Ma Kah Woh who will resign from the position on 18 September.

Starhub has appointed Deborah Ong as the new chairman of the audit committee (AC), effective 18 September.

She will replace Ma Kah Woh, who will step down from the position after serving nine years.

Ong is also an independent non-executive director and member of the risk and sustainability committee at Starhub.

She is a board member and chairs the audit committee of SATS and CapitaLand India Trust Management. She is also a board member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

In addition, Ong is also a board member and chairs the audit and risk committee of Skillsfuture Singapore, Workforce Singapore, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) 

Ong was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 1993 to 2020.
