ComfortDelGro bags 3 metropolitan bus contracts in Sydney 

The contracts are worth A$1.7b in total.

ComfortDelGro won three metropolitan bus contracts in Sydney, New South Wales, worth A$1.7b ($1.5b).

The Greater Sydney Bus Contracts bagged by the company are for Regions 4, 14, and 12. These three regions are home to over 700 buses which transport 118 million passengers in a year.

The Region 4 contract will commence in April 2023 and run for eight years, whilst operations at Region 14 contract will begin in May 2022 and run for seven years.

The Region 12 contract will be consolidated into the Region 14 contract.

Australia is the company's single largest overseas investment destination with a fleet of over 2,600 buses and a total investment of $1.17b to date.

For the financial year which ended 31 December 2021, ComfortDelGro's Australian businesses chalked up revenue of $701m.
