Commuters advisory: No MRT train service in North East Line today

Free bus services are provided at affected stations.

Here’s a media statement from SBST:

NEL train service between Dhoby Ghaut and HarbourFront stations is currently unavailable due to the overhead power supply system problem in the tunnel at Outram Park Station. It is estimated that service at this affected stretch will not be available for about six hours. While we work to rectify the problem, we will be providing free bus services at designated bus stops at the affected stations. The free bus shuttle service has also been activated. We apologise for the inconveience caused and will work to get full service back up as quickly as we can.
