Hyundai Motor Group, EDB sign MOU to advance hydrogen technology
As part of the agreement, both parties will explore the use of Singapore’s pipeline network.
Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) to strengthen capabilities in low-carbon technologies, with a focus on hydrogen energy.
The collaboration builds on HMG’s Innovation Center in Singapore, the group’s first global open innovation hub and testbed for future mobility and clean energy solutions.
As part of the agreement, both parties will explore potential partnerships, including the use of Singapore’s pipeline network for more efficient hydrogen distribution, aimed at reducing logistics challenges and improving resource efficiency.
EDB will also play a role in facilitating HMG’s participation in relevant initiatives and connecting the group with local enterprises and innovation partners.
