NIO posts 15% sales increase in Q3 on competitive brand offerings
The automaker delivered 87,071 vehicles, a 40.8% increase over the previous year.
NIO Inc.’s vehicle sales stood at $3.525m (RMB19.2m) in the third quarter, a 15% year-on-year increase, driven by competitive offerings of its NIO, ONVO, and FIREFLY brands.
NIO delivered 87,071 vehicles during the quarter, an increase of 40.8% compared to the same period in 2024, the automaker said in its unaudited Q32025 financial results.
Its NIO brand delivered 36,928 vehicles, whilst ONVO and FIREFLY delivered 37,656 and 12,487 during the period, respectively, it added.
The automaker said its gross profit reached $555,206 (RMB3.024m) or an increase of 50.7% over the comparable period.
It recorded an $646,455 (RMB3.521m) net loss from operations or a decrease of 32.8% quarter on quarter.
It also posted an $671,976 (RMB3.660m) net loss attributable to its ordinary shareholders or a 28.8% decrease QoQ.
For Q4, NIO aims to deliver 120,000 to 125,000 vehicles, or increases of 65.1% and 72.0% over the last quarter.
