SBS Transit's Q3 profit falls 20.6% YoY
Revenue declined 2.4% YoY to $386.45m, mainly due to lower bus service fees.
SBS Transit has reported a profit after tax of $14.45m for the third quarter of the year, down 20.6% year on year.
For the period, revenue declined 2.4% YoY to $386.45m, mainly due to lower bus service fees resulting from the loss of the Jurong West package from September 2024, coupled with lower fuel indexation.
Meanwhile, operating costs decreased mainly due to lower fuel and electricity costs resulting from lower diesel and electricity prices.
However, the group’s other commercial services grew due to higher advertising revenue.
