Self-storage adoption grows 14% YoY amongst Singapore SMEs
The return-to-office trend and the rise of e-commerce are driving this demand.
In Singapore, businesses using self-storage rose 14% year-on-year (YoY) to 40%, Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) reported.
The increase was driven by the return-to-office trend and the rise of e-commerce.
Storage operators are also offering PUDO (Pick-Up and Drop-Off) services to reduce the need for micro-business owners to visit storage facilities.
“Self-storage is becoming an essential tool for micro businesses in Singapore, providing not only a cost-effective solution but also the flexibility needed in today’s dynamic business environment,” Helen Ng, Chair of the SSAA said.
