Changi Airport Group net profit doubles to $841m in FY2024/25
Passenger traffic reached 68.4 million in FY2024/25.
Changi Airport Group posted a net profit attributable to shareholders of $841m for the financial year 2024/25, more than doubling the $431m recorded in FY2023/24.
Passenger traffic hit a record 68.4 million in FY2024/25, up 9% from the previous year, driven by strong growth from North Asia, South Asia, Southwest Pacific, and the Americas. Aircraft movements increased 8% to 371,000.
Group revenue rose 13% to S$3.07 billion, mainly due to higher passenger numbers. However, concession revenue growth remained weak amid ongoing global economic challenges affecting consumer spending.
The group invested nearly $1b during FY2024/25 to upgrade airport facilities and advance the Changi East development. Construction of Terminal 5 has begun, marking a major capital investment phase.
Other key projects include refurbishing Terminal 3, upgrading the Skytrain system, and improving baggage handling systems.
Changi Airport Group said it will continue to exercise financial discipline while supporting these developments.
