From the Motley Fool Singapore: Singapore Telecommunication Limited’s associate, NetLink Trust, has filed its preliminary prospectus to list on the Singapore stock exchange as NetLink NBN Trust. NetLink Trust has a history stretching back almost a decade in Singapore. We have looked at how the trust has built a wide network of fibre cable that reaches 1.1 million residential homes in Singapore. From there, we have also picked up on how it turns this valuable network into a source of cash.

From PropertyGuru: The implementation of Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects varies, depending on various factors such as complexity of the design, revealed the Ministry of National Development in Parliament. In answering MP Png Eng Huat’s question on the period taken to implement HIP projects, the ministry said the process in which HDB will call Design and Build tenders to procure contractors and consultants for the HIP project would generally take around eight months.

From Get.com via Yahoo!: United will be launching its new history-making nonstop flight from Los Angeles to Singapore on October 27. Why is this significant for the airline? With a total flight distance of over 14,000km, United's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner route is the longest scheduled direct flight between the United States and any country in the world. From sunny Southern California to buzzing Singapore, the westbound journey will take almost 18 hours. If you are looking to be amongst the first few travellers to travel from Singapore to Los Angeles, the eastbound flight will take about 15 hours. Travellers in Singapore can hop aboard United's flight beginning October 29.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
