SATS appoints Timothy Tang as group chief financial officer (CFO)-designate
The appointment will come into effect on 2 May.
SATS has appointed Timothy Tang as group chief financial officer (CFO)-designate, with effect from 2 May.
Meanwhile, Manfred Seah, the company's current group CFO, will transition to the role of Special Advisor, effective 25 July.
Tang has expertise in the business, accounting, and finance sectors, as well as previous leadership positions with a global remit.
Prior to this appointment, Tang was CFO of DFS Group. He also spent nine years in the Jardine Matheson Group where he held management, commercial, and finance roles, including as managing director of Wellcome Hong Kong and Macau.
Tang is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. He will relocate from Hong Kong to Singapore upon officially assuming his role in SATS, following the conclusion of the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM).
