SIA COO joins SATS as non-executive director

Mak Swee Wah holds 21,235 ordinary shares in SATS.

SATS has appointed Singapore Airlines Limited’s (SIA) Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Executive Vice President of Operations, Mak Swee Wah, as an independent non-executive director.

In a bourse filing, SATS said Wah will also serve as a member of the board’s audit committee. Wah holds 21,235 ordinary shares in SATS.

Before his appointment in SATS, Wah also served as a non-executive director at SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC).
