Tiger Airways passenger volume jumped 32% in 2010

From January 2010 to December 2010, Tiger Airways carried a total of 5.8 million passengers.

Tiger Airways said it is an increase of 32% over the 4.4 million passengers in the preceding 12 months.

Average load factor for the 12-month period to December 2010 increased to 86%, an increase of 2 percentage points y-o-y.

For the month of December, Tiger Airways carried 555,000 passengers, a 22% increase compared to the same month last year. The average load factor across Asia and Australia for the month was 91%, an increase of 1 percentage point over December 2009.
