Changi Airport taps MHI for APM system renewal

Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2030.

Singapore Changi Airport has tapped Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) for the renewal of the airport’s automated people mover (APM) system.

The contract was placed through Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific (MHI-AP), MHI’s Asia Regional Office headquartered in Singapore.

The project includes refurbishing facilities for key signals, communications, and tracks.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2030.
