Construction sector expands after two sluggish quarters

Thanks to the HDB building programme and Marina Bay Cruise Centre construction.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore reported:

The construction sector expanded by 32.1% q-o-q saar in Q1 2012 after two quarters of sluggish growth, underpinned by the ramping up of the HDB building programme as well as the final stages of the construction of the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
