Lian Beng Group bags $117m construction deal

Its order book stands at $1.32b as at 18 March.

Construction engineering firm Lian Beng Group’s wholly owned subsidiary Deenn Engineering has secured a construction contract from an unnamed party worth approximately $117m, an announcement revealed.

With the addition of the contract, the Group’s construction order book reportedly stands at $1.32b as at 18 March. The contract period will last for 36 months, firm noted.

In August 2018, the firm’s 60%-owned subsidiary United Tec Construction bagged a contract worth $278.5m from United Venture Development (Silat) for the proposed residential flat development comprising two blocks of 56-storey apartments with a total of 955 units
