No definitive sale on SembWaste: Sembcorp Industries

SembWaste is the recycling and waste management wing of the firm.

Sembcorp Industries Limited said it entered no definitive transaction of any potential sale and there is no certainty that the transaction of SembWaste will “materialise.”

It addressed the May 9, 2023 news reports concerning the potential sale of its recycling and waste management arm.

“Sembcorp regularly reviews its portfolio from time to time to ensure strategic fit and maximise shareholder value,” read the company statement.

It also cautioned its shareholders against media reports on portfolio actions ahead of any definitive announcements made by Sembcorp.
