ST Engineering chairman takes a bow

Kwa Chong Seng will leave his post on 21 April.

Singapore Technologies Engineering’s (ST Engineering) Kwa Chong Seng will step down as chairman and independent director of the board on 21 April.

Chong Seng served as ST Engineering’s chairman for almost 10 years.

Under Chong Seng’s chairmanship,  ST Engineering’s group revenue grew from $6.6b in 2013 to $9.0b in 2022. The company also consistently delivered a return on equity (ROE) of above 20% when Chong Seng was chairman. 

In a bourse filing, ST Engineering announced that Teo Ming Kian, who has been the group’s Deputy Chairman since 21 April 2022, will succeed Chong Seng.
