ST Engineering unit bags platform screen door solution contract for Ontario rail line

Under the contract, the company will deliver 360 sets of full-height platform screen doors.

The Urban Solutions business of ST Engineering has secured a contract to provide its AGIL platform screen door (PSD) solution to the new 15.6-kilometre rapid transit line, Ontario Line, in Toronto, Canada.

Under the contract, ST Engineering will deliver 360 sets of full-height PSDs. Installation of the PSD will begin in 2028.

The contract with Ontario Line adds to ST Engineering’s global track record of over 200 rail projects in over 50 cities.

The Ontario Line is a transit project for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, which will enable connectivity for commuters from Eglinton Avenue and Don Mills Road to Exhibition Place. 

The line will see a daily ridership of about 388,000 passengers when completed.
