URA launches tender for Yishun Avenue 6 site

The industrial site at Yishun Avenue 6 (Parcel 1) is now for sale by public tender with minimum bid price of S$11.5 million.

First made available for sale through the Reserve List system on 29 May 2007, the land parcel with a site area of about 1.42 ha has been launched for public tender two weeks after the Urban Redevelopment Authority received an application from a developer.

With a lease period of 60 years, the land parcel can be developed for a variety of uses under “Business 1” zoning. Developer's packets may be purchased at S$105.00 each, inclusive of GST.

The tender will close at 12 noon on 6 April 2010 with selection of the successful tenderer based on the tendered land price only.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
