LexisNexis Southeast Asia honoured at SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025

The company transforms legal research with its cutting-edge technology Lexis+ AI.

LexisNexis Southeast Asia emerged as the recipient of the AI - Legal accolade at the SBR Technology Excellence Awards 2025. The award was in recognition of the company’s Lexis+ AI, a legal research and analytics platform that combines the power of artificial intelligence with a collection of trusted legal data.

With a design that enhances the efficiency and accuracy of legal work, Lexis+ AI helps legal professionals conduct research, analyse cases, and make informed decisions faster than ever before.

Lexis+ AI, which is built by over 2,000 technologists, data scientists, and legal experts, offers a range of powerful features that simplify how legal professionals approach their work. It allows users to interact conversationally to refine searches and gain deeper insights, as well as instantly generates contract clauses and client communications from simple prompts.

The platform further lets its users upload legal documents for rapid analysis, summarisation, and extraction of critical information. It draws from one of the world’s largest legal repositories to ensure accurate and relevant results and links directly to authoritative sources.

Lexis+ AI is powered by one of the largest collections of legal content, including primary, secondary, and analytical materials, along with practical guidance tools. The platform’s advanced technology, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), ensures that every result is linked to credible sources.

With its efficient offerings, Lexis+ AI aims to transform the legal profession by allowing legal professionals to focus on more strategic work like client interactions and case management.

Since its launch, Lexis+ AI has gained recognition, with users reporting significant time savings and more accurate results. According to a survey of commercial preview customers, 89% of users estimate saving up to 6 hours per week on summarising case law. A total of 78% expect to save up to 4 hours per week on legal drafting, whilst 77% report saving up to 6 hours per week on uploading and summarising documents, and 74% estimate saving up to 7 hours per week on legal research.

Firms using Lexis+ AI have improved their efficiency in handling cases. The platform also helps law firms identify trends, monitor shifts in the legal landscape, and proactively address emerging challenges.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
