SeaLead takes home win at SBR National Business Awards 2025

It has expanded its ocean liner services into new markets and introduced new routes.

Container shipping company SeaLead was lauded at the SBR National Business Awards 2025 in the Shipping category for its accomplishments for the past year in delivering seamless sea freight services globally.

Since its establishment in 2017, the company has quickly grown from a regional feeder vessel operator to a leader in global container shipping by prioritising customer needs and ensuring service reliability.

Recently, it has expanded into new markets and opened new offices in the Philippines, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Morocco, and Spain, whilst strengthening operations in Türkiye, the US East Coast, Senegal, Pakistan, India, and Djibouti. It has also introduced new routes as part of its growth strategy. This global presence enables SeaLead to meet diverse customer needs with precision, expertly managing out-of-gauge, breakbulk, dry, hazardous, and temperature-sensitive cargo.

Currently, SeaLead has over 50 vessels, covering 77 ports across 47 locations and five continents.

“Supported by an extensive network of company-operated offices and dedicated agents, we bridge the gap between nations, businesses, and individuals. We are truly honoured and grateful to be selected for the SBR National Business Award in the Shipping category and we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be recognised for our efforts,” Suleyman Avci, SeaLead’s Global Chief Executive Officer said.

Now in its ninth year, the prestigious award programme honours the remarkable achievements of homegrown companies in Singapore, highlighting transformative business initiatives, innovative strategies, and impactful projects that have made waves in the competitive business landscape of the Lion City.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
