Ledgit Viable Sdn Bhd lauded for Digital - IT Services at Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards

Ledgit Viable Sdn Bhd snagged the Digital - IT Services Award at the recently concluded Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards, presented by Singapore Business Review.

The inaugural awards event honours enterprises and startups that have taken risks and lead the charge in developing groundbreaking projects, digital services, reimagined strategies, and technological initiatives. Winners were judged on the basis of uniqueness and innovation, effectiveness and impact, and dynamism.

As one of the leading digital and business solutions providers in Malaysia, Ledgit Viable Sdn Bhd, or LEDGIT as followers would call them, specialises in IT and software development, blockchain development and consultation, digital branding, business developments and accelerations.

Apart from developing a one-stop digital solutions platform, the company also develops blockchain smart applications that provide provenance solutions in the aspect of supply chain and cultural heritage.

Led by CEO Ivan Ku Yee Ann, LEDGIT has established international strategic collaborations and integrated its resources to enhance market and business values for startups and SMEs throughout Asia.

Last year, the company hosted a forum at the Kuala Lumpur Convention and Exhibition Centre, graced by more than a thousand participants, to discuss the importance of digital ledger in the economic transaction industry.

Ivan Ku, who tried online courses before enrolling for a Certified Blockchain Expert training and certification and being accepted to the Blockchain Council, shared with the audience, “The focus of this forum is to allow the public to know more about blockchain as well as what it expects in the future, then charge points to make good use of this technology to achieve a variety of purposes.”

As the future continues to look bright for blockchain, LEDGIT said that they will act as a one-stop solutions platform for businesses and corporations, helping them integrate the right technology and fully utilise the digital world to capture the right markets to become sustainable.

The Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards, presented by Singapore Business Review, was held on 3 December 2019 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

This year’s nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Alvin SH Gan, Executive Director, Partner, Head of IT enabled Transformation (ITeT) at KPMG Malaysia; Yoon Hoong Hoh, Partner, ASEAN Digital Assurance Leader, Head of Diversified Technology and Communications Group at Ernst & Young; Justin Ong, Partner and FSI Financial and Regulatory Risk Leader at Deloitte Asia Pacific; and Hari Iyer, Executive Director, Advisory at BDO Kuala Lumpur.
