Check out Select Property Group’s cozy office at CapitaGreen

The office space is surrounded by large windows.

Select Property Group, a global provider of property investment brands, started operations in Singapore in October 2015 but has only officially launched its office in April this year to take advantage of a strong demand from investors in Asia for fully-managed investment brands.

Elliot Vure, who leads Select Property Group’s Singapore office, said that the new Singapore operations allow them to be in the same time zone and closer in proximity to their Asian investors that represent more than 18 per cent of their total investors.

Select Property Group Singapore’s office is located at CapitaGreen, and a unique feature of this sustainable building is the presence of lush greenery on every floor and sky terraces that make the space feel calming and relaxing despite being situated right in the centre of Singapore’s central business district.

Its office space is also surrounded by large windows and features high floor-to-ceiling height of 3.2 metres. Vure explains that these allow natural lighting to permeate through, creating a sense of spaciousness and comfort.

Although all of their offices are in different geographies, Vure said that is imperative that each of them fit with the culture of Select Property Group. Hence, they choose an open-office concept.

“We are a sociable business and believe in open offices where our staff can learn from each other and we want our offices to be places the team enjoy working in and can welcome clients to,” he said.

Adding to the cosiness of the space are some elements from its business travel investment brand CitySuites. This provides luxury serviced apartments which marries the conveniences of a hotel with the privacy of a home.

This office space caters for Select Property Group’s team of eight to serve their investors in the region, while also featuring a complete show pod of one of its investment brands, Vita Student. Vita Student is billed as UK’s only experience-led and award-winning provider of purpose-built student accommodation.

The strategic location at CapitaGreen allows their potential clients to drop by to speak with their sales team or to view their show pod, over their lunch period.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
