Out with the old, in with the new: Arcc Offices refurbished its first serviced office in Singapore

It is designed with break out spaces that are ideal for a collaborative working environment.

Breaking the old ideas of work, Arcc Offices launched its first serviced office location in Singapore. Located on the 23rd level of Chevron House, the new space is designed with the workplace evolution in mind and with collaborative environments where ideas can be shared, problems solved and relationships developed.

The 9,000 sq ft space houses 160 workstations with flexible work spaces, meeting rooms, conference facilities, breakout spaces, collaborative concepts, and a cafe.

According to Matthew Chisholm, managing director of Arcc Offices, they decided to build more break out spaces in the new office to inspire collaborative opportunities between clients, on top of a premium quality fit out and material, superior acoustics, as well as new additions of one-pax workstations to support the needs of clients who are more mobile.

“Arcc Offices has always been about flexible workspaces and designing for activity based working and we believe that people perform best when they can choose how to work within it,” he added.

Changing for the better

As a company offering serviced offices, Arcc Offices have to admit that they have to listen to their client’s feedbacks every once in awhile to improve their services. So when the landlord of Chevron House approached the team that they are redeveloping their building, they took it as a great opportunity to refresh the Arcc Offices’ brand and portfolio especially since they have been recently expanding. Matthew told SBR that though they had a narrow window of time to integrate feedback from their clients into their design, they were able to build it in time and even exceeded their returning clients expectations in both the timeline and the final product, retaining more than 50% of their clients during the process.

In the future, Arcc Offices will continuously expand its portfolio to include real estate concepts in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Yangon.

Matthew said that they love the idea of building neighbourhoods, repurposing space and creating interesting spaces for work and life. “Singapore is our home, and being the only serviced office group with a team headquartered in Singapore, we will always be focused on being our best here,” he said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
