Therme Group breaks ground on $1b Marina South wellbeing project
The development will feature over 20 pools and 70 treatment rooms.
Therme Group has broken ground on Therme Singapore, a $1b large-scale urban wellbeing development at Marina South scheduled to open in 2030.
The project, spanning over 720,000 square feet of gross floor area, will be a seven-storey development divided into three zones: Play, Relax, and Restore.
The Play zone will include children’s pools, 18 water slides with a combined length of more than 1.8 kilometres, and interactive play areas.
The Relax zone will feature thermal pools, therapeutic mineral baths, hydromassage beds, and infrared therapy, whilst the Restore zone will include saunas, steam rooms, and massage treatment spaces.

Overall, the development will house more than 20 indoor and outdoor pools and water bodies, as well as over 70 wellness treatment rooms.
It is projected to see around 2 million visitors annually when it reaches full operational capacity, the developer said.
A coastal public park spanning almost four hectares will also be created to connect Therme Singapore with Marina Barrage.
The project is being developed by Therme Group in partnership with Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore).
It is designed by DP Architects in collaboration with Therme Group’s in-house architects, Therme ARC.
