The subject development in Marrison @ Desker Hotel is one of the listings available in the auction. It consists of a corner unit with 5 adjoining 2.5 storey conservation shophouses.

The property's first level has food & beverage, and retail. Meanwhile, its second floor consists of 25 hotel rooms.

Purchasers of these units would be able to operate it as a hotel with licensing available. The property which is within the Little India Conservation Area falls under “commercial” zoning under the Master Plan Zoning 2014.

The six units have a total land area of approximately 619.1 sqm (6,663.99 sqft) and a total build area of approximately 1,140 sqm (12,270 sqft).

“The unit is selling with ground floor tenancy while upstairs and attic are sold as vacant possession and on a “as is where is” basis – where buyer buys the property in its current condition,” the auctioneer said.

Located in the tourist attraction area of District 8, the property is footsteps away to Farrer Park, Jalan Besar MRT Station, City Square Mall, and the iconic Mustafa Centre.

Along with the commercial shophouse, there will be over 20 properties up for auction on 31st May 2018 which include units at West Coast, French Road, and Bukit Timah Shopping Centre.
