CBRE launches sale of Katong shophouse with $15.5m guide price

CBRE has launched the sale of 235 East Coast Road, a freehold three-storey conservation shophouse in Singapore’s Katong precinct.
The sale will be conducted via an Expression of Interest exercise closing on 16 July at 3pm.
The 4,700 sq ft property sits on a 1,905 sq ft plot and is zoned “Commercial” under URA guidelines, allowing for potential expansion to 5,716 sq ft.
Currently, the ground floor is leased to a minimart, the third floor to an office, whilst the second floor is vacant.
The guide price is $15.5m (approx. $3,300 psf).
The property is open to foreigners and companies, with no ABSD or SSD.
